Community Initiatives

CCV understands that small business development is one aspect of community development. Therefore, we partner with community-based organizations to offer a more comprehensive approach to neighborhood revitalization.

To help communities achieve their goals, CCV partners with community-based organizations through our Place-Based Small Business Development Initiative to craft a plan to attract new businesses according to community priorities and provide support to existing businesses to ensure their success. By creating a business infrastructure in the community, CCV fosters collaboration among the businesses to attract both new customers and businesses to the neighborhood.

CCV also manages the City Treasurer's Business Plan Competition. The competition, created to encourage entrepreneurship, is open to start-up and existing small businesses throughout the city.

One of many proud partners.
