Day 1 Kashgar, Arrival
Upon your arrival in Kashgar, your personal tour guide will pick you up and escort you to your hotel with a private vehicle and driver. After checking into the hotel, be free to relax or do some exploration on your own.

Day 2 Kashgar
Kashgar is a place that can take you back to the past.
Today, you will follow your tour guide to take a time journey by bicycle: ride a bike through the alleys of the Old Town, visit the Apak Khoja Mausoleum, where you can listen to the fascinating story of the Fragrant Concubine. Continue to discover the Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China and the religious center of Kashgar, and the famous Sunday Bazaar, a pivotal point along the ancient the Silk Road.

Day 3 Kashgar
Today, drive about 200 km along the famous Karakoram Highway to Karakul Lake. Due to the bumpy road, it will take around 4 hours on the way.
Surrounded by ice peaks, Lake Karakul is one of the most beautiful plateau lakes in the world. The area around the lake is also a pasture land for local Kyrgyz people, so you can take a chance to see local nomadic life there. In the late afternoon, return to Kashgar. On the way, stop at Opal Village to visit the tomb of Mahmud Kashgary, the final resting place of a beloved local scholar and traveler, if time permits.

Day 4 Kashgar - Urumqi
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Urumqi. Upon arrival, your local tour guide in Urumqi will pick you up and then escort you to visit the Southern Pasture, where you can see herdsmen's yurts and visit a local Kazak family. Afterward, get back to the city and check into your hotel.

Day 5 Urumqi - Turpan - Kumtag Desert
Kickstart your RV tour today. After breakfast, be picked up from the hotel and driven to Turpan by the RV. It usually takes around 2.5 hours.
After arrival, visit Karez Irrigation Site, a great ancient irrigation project which helps locals keep clear water even in the flaming summer. Later, tour the Jiaohe Ruins which are well preserved with temples, pagodas, and streets dotted around. Afterward, drive about 1 hour to Kumtag Desert where you'll spend the night in the RV.

Day 6 Kumtag Desert - Turpan - Urumqi
Enjoy the sunrise in the desert, then have breakfast prepared by your tour guide.
Drive back to Turpan to visit Gaochang Ruins which was the King City around 1,200 years ago, Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves and Tuyoq Village where you can explore traditional Uyghur life and architecture when passing by the Flaming Mountains.
In the late afternoon, you will be driven about 2.5 hours back to Urumqi.

Day 7 Urumqi, Departure
Today, spend some free time until your tour guide transfers you to the airport for your flight departing from Urumqi.
