Day 1 Beijing, Arrival
Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, your private guide will welcome you and escort you to your hotel. Settle down at the hotel and then relax while recovering from your long fight.

Day 2 Beijing, Forbidden City
In the morning, you can start the city tour from Tiananmen Square, and then visit the Forbidden City where the feudal emperor worked and lived from around 600 years ago. After lunch, continue on a leisurely walking tour in hutongs to learn about the daily life of ordinary people and even meet a cricket trainer, listening to his stories about cricket fighting in the old days.

Day 3 Beijing, Great Wall
Like the locals, start a new day at the Temple of Heaven where you will marvel at the elegance of the architecture itself, and join the locals doing morning exercises: playing Tai Chi, dancing with swords, singing Peking opera, and practicing Chinese calligraphy on the ground with a huge brush and water.
Afterward, drive about 1.5 hours to visit the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section, less crowded, with a cable car up and down). Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will be amazed at the unbelievable construction and the appealing landscape surrounding it. Return to the city at the end of the tour.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an
Before heading to Xi'an by high-speed train, you will be escorted to the imperial garden of the Summer Palace and the nearby pearl store. In the Summer Palace, you can also take a boat ride on Kunming Lake if the weather permits.
It will take around 5.5 hours to reach Xi'an. Upon arrival, your personal guide and driver will meet you and accompany you to your downtown hotel.

Day 5 Xi'an, Terracotta Army
The Terracotta Warriors undoubtedly made Xi'an world-famous. Today, you will see the legendary Terracotta Army. Although these soldiers have been buried underground over 2,200 years, they still look alive and you can even imagine different stories from the vivid expressions on their faces, no two of which are the same.
After that, you will be escorted back to the city to visit the Ancient City Wall and a jade gallery.

Day 6 Xi'an - Shanghai
In the morning, have a relaxing stroll through Muslim Street to get a general impression of Chinese Muslims' daily life and visit Shaanxi History Museum, one of China's best, to see thousands of unearthed historical relics.
Take an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Arriving after 2.5 hours, your local guide in Shanghai will meet you and accompany you to your downtown hotel.

Day 7 Shanghai City Tour
Your discovery tour in Shanghai includes Yu Garden, a wonderful example of a classic Chinese garden, Yuyuan Market, a bustling bazaar in the old town of Shanghai, a silk workshop, the Bund, the former French Concession, and Shanghai Tower - the tallest building in China. From the top of Shanghai Tower, you will get a great vista shot of the city.

Day 8 Shanghai, Departure
Be free at leisure until your personal guide and private driver escort you to the airport for your departure flight. Sadly, it's time to say goodbye.
